On March 12 Island held their first recording session at Cavalier Studios, Stockport. This is a famous venue used by famous artists including the Stone Roses. The resulting demo comprises three tracks, It's All Right, Rescue Call and Now You're On Your Own.

The band travelled in style to the recording studio in Tom's Maestro and spent a whole day finalising the three tracks. The demo has received praise from many critics, including the manager of the recording studio who noted it's commercial promise.
